African Youth and Community Organization excited for new Dream Center February 14 2021
The nonprofit organization secures a two-year lease with Metro for a new location in Northeast Portland.
A Portland nonprofit is seeing a lot of new developments this year after moving into a bigger place more central to the African immigrant community they serve.
African Youth and Community Organization (AYCO) recently moved to a new location on Northeast 74th Avenue and Glisan Street the former site of the Trinity Broadcasting Network thanks to a partnership with land owner Metro, the elected regional government. This new center is the Dream Center for AYCO, said Jamal Dar, the organization s executive director.
"The Chosen" is the first-ever multi-season TV show about the life of Jesus and now it's coming to Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). The series takes viewers on a journey that allows them to see sides of Jesus' ministry that have never been depicted on film before.

Sight & Sound Theatres is known for its larger-than-life stage productions of classic Bible tales on its 300-foot wraparound stage, often with live animals.Â
But even the grand spectacles that are Sight & Sound productions were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The theater Lancaster County s largest tourist attraction had to delay the March 2020 debut of Queen Esther, manage capacity restrictions and navigate state-mandated shutdowns.Â
But luckily for Sight & Sound fans, the theater has found ways to continue entertaining crowds while they stay home. This weekend offers a chance for just that.
Sight & Sound s production of Noah will air Friday, Jan. 29 on Trinity Broadcasting Network. The show airs on TBN 8 p.m. Friday, and will be available to stream on the TBN app Friday, Jan. 29 through Sunday, Jan. 31. TBN is channel 290 for Comcast subscribers in the Lancaster area, channel 372 for DirectTV customers and channel 260 on Dish.Â
