ROCKFORD Rosecrance Health Network President and CEO Phil Eaton is entering the final days of a 50-year career that started when he walked in the door as a newly hired social worker.
“It’s bittersweet. I’ve spent 50 years working with wonderful staff and caring board members and clients who inspire me every day,” said Eaton, who holds a bachelor s degree from Trinity International University in Deerfield and a master s degree in community mental health from Northern Illinois University.
After he retires Jan. 5, Eaton, said, he looks forward to spending more time with his wife, Cherri, and adult son, Chris. He ll also have room on his schedule for recreation.
