VHP cadres will fan out across the country to collect funds for Ayodhya Ram Temple.
The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has announced that it will launch a mega public outreach programme to crowd-fund the grand Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. According to its leader Champat Rai, VHP cadres will fan out across the country to collect funds from as many as 10 crore people in four lakh villages.
The drive will begin from Makar Sankranti (January 15) and conclude on February 27 on the occasion of Magh Poornima and birth anniversary of Sant Ravidas.
Rai, also the general secretary of the Shri Ram Janmbhumi Teerth Kshetra, said that volunteers will go from door-to-door with saints to seek their participation.

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], December 15 (ANI): The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra on Tuesday said that it is going to start a mass contact and contribution campaign for the construction of the grand temple in Ayodhya. During the campaign, the public will also be made aware of the historical significance of the Janmabhoomi Movement .
The trust constituted to look after the construction and management of Ram temple in Ayodhya, said in a tweet that the campaign will commence on the occasion of Makar Sankranti (will fall on January 14, 2021) and will continue till Magh Purnima (the day of the full moon that occurs during the Hindu calendar month of Magh).

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra today announced a mass contact and contribution campaign for construction of the temple dedicated to Lord Ram in Ayodhya. The campaign will also focus on creating awareness about the “historical significance” of the Ayodhya movement, the Ram mandir trust said in a series of posts on Twitter.
