NEWARK, N.J., Feb. 17, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) Corizon Health announced today the company was recently awarded a renewal of the health services contract with the Essex County Juvenile Detention Center (ECJDC) in Newark. The new contract award was made following competitive bidding and extends a long and successful partnership with the ECJDC.

CHICAGO and BRENTWOOD, Tenn., Jan. 27, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) The NCCHC Foundation and Corizon Health announced today that Corizon has made a generous gift to the Foundation, making Corizon a Gold Partner in the foundation’s Partners in Correctional Health Annual Giving Society.
The gift will establish a scholarship fund specifically for students attending historically black colleges and universities who are interested in the correctional health field and will fund their attendance at National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) conferences during 2021. The scholarships cover travel, lodging, and conference fees.

Deadline for Senior College classes approaches
The registration deadline for community members to sign-up to attend the Senior College’s slate of February online winter classes is Jan. 27.
Eight virtual classes will be offered on Zoom from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Feb. 2-25.
