The airline’s operation was suspended on March 16 over serial safety infractions, while a comprehensive audit of the airline was carried out. The audit report also indicted the airline of violating key provisions of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations (Nig.CARs). But the airline has immediately implemented the Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) recommended by the audit report. There are indications that the airline may resume operation this week as the NCAA is set to lift the suspension after being satisfied with the CAPs implemented by the airline. As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official statement from the NCAA, but a source in the airline hinted that the carrier is ready to resume operations.
