Both mother and son are doing well. The new arrival has brought immense joy to the entire Mehta and Ambani families, the statement added. Akash is the eldest son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, while Shloka is the daughter of diamantaire Russel Mehta. The couple, who got married in March 2019, have known each other since childhood as they went to the same school - Dhirubhai Ambani International School. The childhood friends turned lovers tied the knot after Akash proposed to his dream girl in Goa in 2018.
