Married At First Sight Australia is a popular reality TV series where strangers marry before they have had a chance to meet. The sixth season originally aired in Australia back in January 2019, so a lot of time has passed since they said their vows. Married At First Sight Australia is totally absurd but also totally compelling TV. Arguably far better than the British version, a panel of experts put together couples based on suitability and they make a lifelong commitment to each other at a ceremony overseen by a wedding celebrant (read: it s not legally binding). Following a honeymoon, they attend commitment ceremonies where they get to share how they really feel - and it can be pretty brutal.

Married At First Sight Australia star Nic Jovanovic revealed that he had received a second devastating cancer diagnosis while filming the series in 2019.
However, the 29-year-old reality star decided to keep the diagnosis from his wife Cyrell Paule at the time.
Nic then underwent chemotherapy and had a testes removed days after filming for the romance show came to an end.
The series is now being aired in the UK, and Nic admitted that it brought back some difficult memories. Speaking to The Sun, Nic opened up about hearing the devastating news at the time.
