This year, the Ice Fest will look a little different but it will still be a weekend of outdoor socially distanced fun. More than 40 ice sculptures will line the streets.
Enjoy live ice carving demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Main Street train station, 5001 Main St.

The annual St. Patrick s Celebration will look very different this year compared to previous years. It will have a decreased footprint due to health and safety restrictions from executive orders from the state guideline.
The St. Charles St. Patrick s Celebration, which will be held on Saturday, March 13, will not include the St. Patrick s Parade.
In place of the parade, the St. Charles Business Alliance will be hosting events around town, including a festive photo op area and roaming bagpipers.

Libertyville Days organizers say Let s Give It a Shot this summer A parade on Milwaukee Avenue will be back on the schedule when the Libertyville Days festival returns in 2021. Canceled last year because of the coronavirus, the popular Libertyville Days festival is back on the summer schedule of big events.
With Let s Give It a Shot! as the theme and a focus on honoring community heroes, the nonprofit Libertyville Civic Center Foundation s sole fundraiser will proceed.

The Historic Downtown Long Grove Business Association has modified its first major event of 2021 to help curb the spread of COVID-19.
The Long Grove Cocoa Crawl, set for noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 6-7, will combine a new virtual application with the traditional in-person model to provide a safer experience for all.
