Motorcyclist in Trempealeau County dead after crashing into a deer

TOWN OF HALE, Wis. (WKBT) – A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a deer Saturday afternoon in Trempealeau County.
The driver was going south on County Road E in the Town of Hale just before 3 p.m, according to a release from the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office. The driver then hit the deer, lost control and then went into a ditch overturning.
The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene when authorities arrived.
The name of the driver is not being released at this time.
