1. We Can Be Heroes
With a surprisingly high score of 73% on Rotten Tomatoes (the 51% on Metacritic feels more accurate), this was released on Netflix on Christmas Day, and has remained in the top spot ever since. The plot continues to pretty much be What if Toy Story, but pets?? , but thanks to the stacked cast - including Patton Oswalt, Kevin Hart, and Harrison Ford - having a blast, it makes it a very easy watch.
Spacey - who has won two Oscars for his performances in The Usual Suspects and American Beauty - hasn t appeared in a movie or TV project since 2017, when his final scenes in House Of Cards streamed on Netflix, as well as his supporting roles in Baby Driver and Billionaire Boys Club.
The actor did appear in short Christmas videos, apparently reprising his House Of Cards role of Frank Underwood, in which he refutes the allegations against him.
Spacey s new role is co-starring opposite Vanessa Redgrave (Atonement, Call The Midwife) in The Man Who Drew God.
The movie s official synopsis is as follows:
