As you can probably guess from its title, Loki will continue the adventures of Tom Hiddleston s God of Mischief.
The brother of Thor, the character of Loki has appeared in six of the MCU films - often as a villain, but occasionally as an anti-hero.
While official plot details for Loki are being kept under wraps, the trailer suggests that after a younger version of the title character stole the all-powerful Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame, he created an alternate, unstable timeline.
As such, he is captured by the Time Variance Authority (TVA), an organisation that monitors the multiverse and can prune timelines if they re deemed too dangerous to exist, who force Loki to help them fix the problem he created.
