East Carolina Universityâs Storybook Theatre production of âDr. Dolittle will be available to stream on April 15 at midnight through April 17 at 11:45 p.m., and will highlight the talents of students through the online premiere on the video streaming platform Showtix4u.
ECU School of Theatre and Dance Professor, Coordinator of Theatre Education and Theatre for Youth Head Patricia Patch Clark is the director of âDr. Dolittleâ and said the cast and crew of the production overcame the obstacles presented by COVID-19 restrictions in order to make this production possible.
âWe were excited about âDr. Dolittle,â usually storybook theatre performances for the (ECU Fine Arts and Communication) Arts Smart and Family Fare Series. Dr. Dolittle was a wonderful choice because we try to promote reading and the enjoyment and interest in reading,â Clark said.
