FOR Arivananthan Kanakasundar, the opportunity to pursue his postgraduate studies at Management & Science University (MSU) has been a good learning experience so far. In addition, he gets to fulfil his parents’ dream of obtaining a master’s degree and making them proud.
The 27-year-old Klang lad is currently pursuing the Master in Science Food Service Technology at the School of Graduate Studies (SGS). As an alumnus of MSU’s Bachelor in Biomedical Science (Hons) and being among the top students, he has received the Dean’s Award five times and the President’s Award three times

PASIR MAS, Jan 24 The Skills Development Fund Corporation (PTPK) will continue to extend the deferment of loan repayment until a period to be announced later following the implementation of the movement control order (MCO).
PTPK chairman Ahmad Fadhli Shaari said the postponement was in line with the government’s intention to ease the burden of borrowers while facing the current Covid-19 situation.

The Human Resources Ministry (KSM) has agreed to extend deferment on repayment of Skills Development Fund Corporation (PTPK) loans to eligible borrowers by three months until March 31. Its Minister Datuk Seri M Saravanan said this was due to some loan recipients impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and are still unable to service their loans.
