TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. Traffic was delayed for several hours on southbound Interstate 65 in northern Tippecanoe County after a car caught on fire and collided with an semi about 10:40 a.m. Wednesday.
The car a Chrysler Concorde caught fire, and the driver started to pull off the interstate when he noticed flames, according to the Tippecanoe County Sheriff s Office. The driver, Tanner Lenoble of Chilton, Wis., then lost control of his car and collided with the semi.
The driver escaped the car with minor cuts and bruises, as his car became engulfed in flames on the shoulder of I-65 near the 182 mile marker, according to police.

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – A juvenile is dead following a Tuesday evening crash in Tippecanoe County, according to the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office.
Just after 7 p.m., deputies responded to the intersection of US Highway 52 South and County Road East 700 South after several calls about a crash with injuries.
Deputies said their early investigation indicates that a semi, driven by 38-year-old Joshua Mays, was traveling south on US Highway 52 South when a northbound 2014 Buick Regal driven by a Lafayette, Indiana juvenile crossed the center line. It’s unknown at this time why the Buick crossed the center line and went into the southbound lane.
Crash kills Tippecanoe County teen
Tippecanoe County Coroner Carrie Costello confirmed the victim was 16-year-old Evan Anders.

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) A 16-year-old is dead after a crash on U.S. 52 Tuesday night.
It happened around 7:00 p.m. near the intersection of U.S. 52 South and County Road East 700 South.
Tippecanoe County Coroner Carrie Costello confirmed the victim was Evan Anders of Lafayette.
According to the Tippecanoe County Sheriff s Office, he was driving northbound on U.S. 52 South.
For an unknown reason, Anders vehicle crossed over into the southbound lanes and into the path of a semi.
