Application stalwarts SAP, Oracle and Workday have been handed places on the contract, as have services companies including Deloitte, Capita and Fujitsu (see box for a full list of winners).
However, there are notable absences. Unit4 has proved popular on the public sector ERP circuit, with its integration of technology from Agresso, but it is not included. While the tender asks for CRM software, global market leader Salesforce is similarly missing. Likewise, ServiceNow does not get a look-in for the workflow category.

BSW Timber Solutions announces two new directors 15 March, 2021 Bruce McKay and Lynsey Pace Bruce McKay has been appointed as Managing Director of BSW Timber Solutions Limited, formerly SCA Wood UK, while Lynsey Pace has been promoted to the role of HR Director.
This announcement comes after McKay became the designate Managing Director of the business when it was acquired by BSW in December. Having spent 25 years in the timber industry, McKay has senior level experience working across a variety of functions – including procurement, supply chain, sales and commercial – and he will lead the business through this exciting new phase.

Sterling Bank Plc has assured the Cross River State Government of its continued support and partnership in the implementation of the state’s health insurance scheme tagged ‘Ayade Care’.
It said this on Sunday in a statement titled ‘Sterling Bank assures Cross River on health insurance scheme’.
The statement said the state government recently launched the scheme in Calabar, the state capital, as part of an effort to achieve health insurance cover for vulnerable citizens in the state.
Speaking at the launch, Divisional Head, Education and Health Sectors, Sterling Bank, Mr Obinna Ukachukwu, said the state’s pragmatic approach to the issue of health insurance was commendable as it differed markedly in approach from the norm experienced in the execution of most public service projects.
