Actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise and his Foundation announce the launch of a cognitive health and mental wellness network providing transformative care to veterans and first responders experiencing post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injuries, and substance abuse: the Gary Sinise Foundation Avalon Network. The Gary Sinise Foundation Avalon Network builds on the work of the Marcus Institute for Brain Health and the Boulder Crest Foundation s Warrior PATHH program and will establish 20 treatment sites nationwide to serve thousands of veterans, first responders, and their families.

John Brooks Recovery Center (JBRC) has announced that its new Detox Center, part of JBRC’s new Residential Treatment Facility in Mays Landing, is now open. The facility features 23 detox beds and is now accepting new patients and referrals.
The Detox Center is part of JBRC’s new $15M Mays Landing residential treatment facility located at 1455 Pinewood Boulevard in Mays Landing. The treatment facility offers a recovery-oriented model that integrates physical health, behavioral health and recovery support services. This new facility also highlights 46 short-term beds and 46 long-term beds, and expands JBRC’s continuum of care, allowing the organization to help even more people overcome substance use disorders.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. â Those struggling with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) now have even more options to seek recovery.
Wedgwood Christian Services is expanding their SUD treatment outreach programs by adding a second licensed facility in Greenville, MI. The building features more office space designated to accommodate more counseling sessions and group therapy.
Their SUD outreach and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is tailor-made to aid in the recovery process of those with moderate to significant substance use.
