CARDEL JACOBS Social Share A MAN FROM Union Island will stand trial on charges of stealing a cordless security camera, alcohol and cigarettes from a minimart on that Grenadine island. Cardel Jacobs of Clifton, Union Island, was taken to the Serious Offences Court(SOC) yesterday, July 19, where he pleaded ‘not guilty’ on two separate charges. It was put to him that he, on March 13, at Ashton, Union Island, entered the S and D minimart as a trespasser and stole 20 cartons of Pall Mall cigarettes; two cases of 750ml Sunset rum; six bottles of Stone wine; one case of one litre Mount Gay; five bottles of of 700ml Mount Gay; three bottles of Pure Heaven; four tins of Robert Salami; five mustards; ten pans of Pringles; five packs of Dixie biscuits; and five packs of hemp; the property of Daviel Isaacs of Ashton, Union Island.
