Police release CCTV after ram raid at cinema – Lake Haven
Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District are investigating following a ram raid at a cinema on the state’s Central coast earlier this week.
Just before 4am (Tuesday 4 May 2021), police attended Forrow Drive following reports of extensive damage to the front glass doors of the cinema.
A crime scene was established, and officers obtained CCTV of the incident.
The vision depicts a white Toyota Hilux table-top with a green canopy reversing into the doors. Two men are seen to remove a cash machine from the location and load it into the rear of the ute.
Electronics and safety equipment has been stolen from the Rural Fire Service on the Central Coast over the last week.
Between Tuesday 20 April and Tuesday 4 May, thieves broke into a property on Arizona Road and stole several items from a boat parked there.
Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District attended and established a crime scene.
They are urging anyone with any information to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
In particular, police would like members of the public who may have been approached by anyone attempting to sell these items, to also come forward.

Police launch investigation into theft from RFS property – Central Coast
An investigation is underway into the theft of items from a Rural Fire Service (RFS) property on the Central Coast.
Between Tuesday 20 April 2021 and Tuesday 4 May 2021, a property on Arizona Road, Charmhaven, was broken into and several items were reported stolen from a boat parked at the property.
The items included safety equipment and electronics.
Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District attended and established a crime scene.
As inquires continue, police urge anyone with any information to contact Tuggerah Lakes police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
In particular, police would like members of the public who may have been approached by anyone attempting to sell these items, to also come forward.

Police investigating after explosion – Bateau Bay
Police are appealing for information from the public as they investigate reports of a small explosion on the Central Coast last week.
The incident occurred about 3pm (Sunday 25 April 2021), under an underpass between a shopping centre and a skate park.
A number of people were nearby at the time of the explosion: however, no one was injured and no property appears to have been damaged.
There have been reports of a similar incident occurring in the area about 4.15pm Wednesday 28 April 2021.
Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A man has been taken to hospital in a critical condition after he was found with stab wounds at a caravan park he lived in.
The resident was discovered slumped in the amenities building at a caravan park on The Entrance Road, on the NSW Central Coast, with stab wounds at 7.30am on Sunday.
The 42-year-old man suffered several stab wounds to his neck and back and was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital for treatment.
