NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) â Tennessee State University s marching band will participate at the We Are One to celebrate the Inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.
The virtual celebration will be held Tuesday, the day before the Inauguration. Video of the band will be used during the streamed event.
âThe Tennessee State University Aristocrat of Bands is very excited to be a part of the inauguration celebration of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris,â Dr. Reginald McDonald, TSUâs director of bands said in a press release. âIn the midst of a very challenging year, our band program continues to display the excellence of Tennessee State University.â

US First Lady Melania Trump on Monday (January 18) released a farewell message as the Trumps prepare to exit the the White House, saying that violence is never the answer, weeks after the president s supporters stormed the US Capitol.
In her six-minute-long farewell speech, which was recorded on video, Melania did not talk much about outgoing US President Donald Trump as she paid rich tributes to familities of the US Army men, health workers and those working for the betterment of the victims of opioid abuse.
Washington has barely had time to process the implications of Democratic control after two Georgia runoff elections that are delivering the Senate to Democrats. Hours after the races were decided, a mob of zealots ransacked the U.S. Capitol and reshaped the national and political landscape.
