In keeping with rising ambitions to be more involved in American politics up and down the ballot, Indian-American and the broader Asian-American community is putting its money where its mouth is – not just to support candidates in various states, but also invest in research on voting patterns.
That indicates a long-term commitment to incremental gains in the future.

The 500 National Guard members are being processed at a training base in Sea Girt before moving down to the nation’s capital to support law enforcement already at the Capitol, including 74 New Jersey state troopers.
“Due to recent events down in Washington D.C. and civil unrest, that definitely changed the picture for the New Jersey National Guard and our citizen soldiers were called up to help respond,” said Ryan Harty, operations officer of the state’s National Guard.

President Trump received 74 million votes in November, the most of any Republican in the history of the country by a country mile. The problem, of course, is that the other guy got 81 million votes while edging Trump in key states, including Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, to take the Electoral College.
But Trump was in the rare position of being well placed to run again in 2024 and squashing the competition in the same manner he did in 2016.
