President-elect Joe Biden’s goal of distributing 100 million coronavirus vaccine shots in his first 100 days in office is both bold and dangerous.
It’s bold because 100 million shots would inoculate 50 million people against the virus. That would turn the tide against the spread of COVID-19 and would be a giant first step in regaining the public’s trust in government.
It’s dangerous because Biden has publicly committed to a specific number of vaccines by a specific date.
