Now the overwhelmingly white, male, Republican Senate majority is aiming to reject one of President-elect Biden s cabinet-level nominees. No surprise, that person is a woman of color - Neera Tanden. If confirmed, Tanden would be the first non-white woman to serve as director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). But she is far from the first woman of color in Washington to ignite ugly talk - especially about Black women as angry, unqualified and having an attitude.
