Vice President-elect Kamala Harris has acknowledged the challenges that lie ahead saying, We re going into Wednesday knowing that we re ready to do the work adding, it is not going to be easy.
Incoming President Joe Biden will be formally entering the White House on January 20 at a time when Covid 19 pandemic has killed more than 398,000 Americans and thrown millions into economic distress.

TEANECK, NJ As President-elect Joe Biden is set to become President Joe Biden Wednesday, New Jersey will have a presence at the Inauguration Day festivities. The Presidential Inaugural Committee announced the representatives for a virtual Parade Across America, which includes the Teaneck High School Flag Twirlers and Drum Line.
Those Teaneck students will be joined during the virtual parade by Jon Stewart, along with other representatives from across the country.

When Riya Amin was growing up, she said she was the only Indian girl in her elementary school. Her parents emigrated from India and moved to Cleveland before she was born.
It was hard to understand at that age why she didn’t look like other girls, or why she was the only vegetarian. At the time, she said there wasn’t as much cultural understanding.
“It was pretty difficult for me growing up,” said Amin, 26, who now lives in Northfield. “It’s made me a little stronger now.”
