Jan 22 (Interfax) - Russia s Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and Hungary s Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto on Friday discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fuel and energy sector, the press service of the Russian government said. Novak stressed that bilateral cooperation of the two countries in the energy sector is developing positively, with work being conducted in all the main areas of gas, oil, and the nuclear industry, as well as in the area of solar power generation. Our main task is to maintain the already achieved level of cooperation and to increase the results. Russia remains among the largest suppliers of natural gas to Hungary and traditionally fulfills its contractual obligations to our foreign partners, the deputy prime minister stressed.
