Secret Bridesmaids’ Business was commissioned by Seven Network in Australia
Channel 4 in the UK, RTÉ in Ireland and TVNZ in New Zealand are among the international broadcasters to have picked up romantic thriller Secret Bridesmaids’ Business.
The 6×60’ series, originally commissioned by Australia’s Seven Network, sees a bride’s perfect wedding turn deadly after one of the bridesmaids unwittingly invites a malevolent stranger into their lives.
Produced by Seven Studios and based on the stage play by Elizabeth Coleman, the series stars Abbie Cornish (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Katie McGrath (Supergirl, Jurassic World), Georgina Haig (Snowpiercer, The Crossing) and Alexander England (Little Monsters, Alien Covenant).

We’re up to season seven of this show, where viewers get to have a good root around the homes of those with the time, money and inclination to make their gaffs that bit special and show them off on the telly.
Regular HOTY watchers will notice a couple of changes in personnel, as new judges Suzie McAdam and Amanda Bone are on board along with the perennial presenter/judge Hugh Wallace.

NBC also recently picked up Keshet drama “LaBrea,” from creator David Applebaum and Keshet Studios, a primeval drama about a massive sinkhole that mysteriously opens in Los Angeles, tearing a family in half.

More people are leaving the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area due to the COVID crisis, than any other region in the country.
United Van Line’s annual moving survey for 2020 found that NJ led all states with 70% of people exiting, while only 30% moved in.
NY and Illinois were tied for second worst with departures accounting for 67% of all moves between March and October.
Connecticut took the third spot with 63% of residents leaving the state.
The states with the highest “move-in” rate include: Idaho (70%), South Carolina (64%), Oregon (63%), South Dakota (62%) and Arizona (62%).

Secret Bridesmaids Business was previously adapted as an Australian miniseries starring Abbie Cornish, Kati McGrath and Georgina Haig. Keshet International distributed the series.
The new adaptation hails from NBC, Keshet Studios and Universal Television. Deirdre Shaw will write the series and executive produce with Peter Traugott, Avi Nir and Alon Shtruzman.
