Coronavirus: Dubai responds to 871,000 Covid queries last year

Dubai Health Authority receives over 2.2 million calls in 2020.
The Dubai Health Authority’s (DHA) call centre received over 2.2 million calls in 2020, of which 870,732 were related to Covid-19.
Fatma AlKhajah, Director of the Customer Happiness Department at the DHA, gave a break-up of the calls: 49,651 were to book appointments for a Covid-19 PCR test 124,780 were to book appointments for the ‘Doctor for Every Citizen’ service, which provides free 24/7 consultation and queries regarding Covid-19 via video and voice calls.
“We have trained 270 employees and ensured that they are up-to-date with latest information, developments, and approved decisions by the authorities concerned,” said AlKhajah.
