An Indian expat based in the UAE is the latest winner of $1 million in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise promotions draw.
Sarath Kunnummal became a dollar millionaire with his ticket number 4275 in Millennium Millionaire Series 351, which he purchased online on February 2.
Suraj Aneed, a 35-year-old Indian national based in Abu Dhabi, who won the promotion last time, attended the presentation.

Kunnummal, 26, has been working as a technician earning a salary of Dh1,600 a month. He is sharing the ticket with nine other people so his shares is 1/10th of the prize money. Nevertheless that still works out to $100,000 (Dh365,000 approximately), an amount that would have taken him years perhaps a decade to earn. And when this newspaper contacted him, the excitement was high.
“My parents are more than 70 years old. They have health issues. I will save this money for them. I also have a dream of building a big house for my parents in Kerala,” said Kunnummal, who hails from Kannoor district in Kerala. These are tough times and I am grateful for this win. It is taking time to sink in. Rest assured this money will be put to good use.”

Indians make up the highest number of Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire ticket buyers.
An Indian expat became a millionaire, while a compatriot will drive away a luxury vehicle, when their winning tickets were drawn in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise promotions.
Suraj Aneed, a 35-year-old based in Abu Dhabi, became the 350th winner of the raffle ticket.
A resident of Abu Dhabi for five years now, Aneed was watching the live draw on Dubai Duty Free s Facebook page.
The father of one said: “I cannot believe that I won with my fourth only ticket to the Dubai Duty Free promotion. True enough, it’s never too late to start and one should never lose hope, he said.

Amit S., a 46-year-old Indian national based in Bangalore, became a US$1million dollar winner when his ticket number 0518 in Millennium Millionaire Series 348, which he purchased online on Dec.18, 2020, was drawn on Wednesday.
A participant in Dubai Duty Free’s promotion since 2016, S took advantage of the 25 per cent discount during the Dubai Duty Free 37th anniversary celebrations in December and purchased ten tickets for Series 348.

Kanikaram Rajasekhar, a 45-year-old Indian national based in the city of Hyderebad, on Wednesday got the gift of his life when he was declared the latest winner of $1 million in Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire draw.
The draw for the famous Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise promotions was held on Wednesday at Concourse C of Dubai International Airport.
Rajasekar purchased ticket number 3546 in Millennium Millionaire Series 347 online on Dec.18, 2020.
Rajasekhar bought two tickets for Series 347 after failing to win with his first ever ticket purchased in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire in Series 345.
