A 21-year-old woman was shot Sunday night, becoming Wilmington s second shooting victim of the day.
Wilmington Police provided few details in the woman s shooting other than to say it occurred about 9:50 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of E. Sixth St.
The woman arrived at the hospital on her own, police added.
Almost 11 hours earlier, police responded to the 2900 block of Bowers St. – more than 1.5 mile away. There, the department said, a 20-year-old man had been shot.
