Detectives conduct death investigation near Doral in Miami-Dade
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Divers are participating in a death investigation on Thursday in an artificial body of water, just east of Doral and south of Medley, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.
Homicide detectives responded to 9401 NW 74 St., according to Detective Angel Rodriguez, a spokesman for the department. Divers were searching for evidence.

MIAMI (AP) Three people died and a man was wounded in a shooting that led to a brief standoff at a home southwest of Miami, police said.
Miami-Dade police were called to the neighborhood around 5 p.m. Sunday after a man ran to a neighbor s house, saying he d been shot by his son, news outlets reported. Two children also escaped the home, getting out safely, officials said.
A SWAT team and hostage negotiators arrived and tried to make contact with the shooter before they heard another gunshot. Eventually, they forced their way inside and found the bodies of two women and a man, who was believed to be the gunman, police said.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Detectives are investigating three deaths on Monday that are related to a domestic violence shooting in southwest Miami-Dade County. Two children survived the family tragedy, police said.
Officers found a gunman dead on Sunday afternoon after he killed his mother and his wife and injured his father, according to Detective Angel Rodriguez, a spokesman for the Miami-Dade Police Department.
