Man killed at car wash on S. Claiborne Avenue identified

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans Police are on the scene of a homicide in Central City.
Officers responded to a call of a shooting around 3:20 p.m. in the 3700 block of South Claiborne Avenue. When they arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Bruce Gaten, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to NOPD, a vehicle pulled up next to the victim’s vehicle and the suspect got out, approached the victim’s vehicle and opened fire.
