Hulusi Akar, the Turkish Defense Minister in a meeting with its NATO allies have said that the 500 Turkish forces in Afghanistan will take the control and responsibility of the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, if financial, logistic and political supported is provided by alies. Akar discussed these issues at a NATO defence ministers meeting held during the Deniz Kurdu (Sea Wolf) military exercises at Turkey’s Aksaz Naval Base, located in the southeast coast of the Aegean Sea in Marmaris, Muğla, Hürriyet reported.
