Atlantic City is offering people a chance to blow up Trump s former casino

By Christopher Brito December 18, 2020 / 11:46 AM / CBS News Atlantic City is giving people the chance to bid on imploding President Trump s former casino in February. A seagull flies past protective netting draped on a tower illuminated at dusk as demolition continues at Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino, once one of the city s premier destinations.

The former Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino is being dynamited on Jan. 29, and the city is auctioning off the chance to be the person who presses the button for the implosion. “Some of Atlantic City’s iconic moments happened there, but on his way out, Donald Trump openly mocked Atlantic City, saying he made a lot of money and then got out,” says Mayor Marty Sm
