Crash closes Route 581 ramps to Carlisle Pike

According to PennDOT’s 511PA system, the crash occurred around 1:14 p.m. Monday.
Cumberland County Dispatch said the crash occurred on the 581 on the ramp connecting to Carlisle Pike/U.S. Route 11. There was a small fire, dispatch said, and one injury has been reported.
Pennsylvania State Police spokeswoman Trooper Megan Ammerman said the crash involves a tractor-trailer.
PennDOT traffic cameras show traffic is flowing on 581, but cars are backed up on the ramps.

York-area woman now reported missing survived being shot, run over last year

A York-area woman who survived being shot five times, run over by her attackers car and left for dead on a quiet North Codorus Township road last summer is now missing, according to state police in Carlisle.
Meredith Celeste Wilson Keltner, 28, was last seen March 28 and last texted someone on April 7, said Trooper Megan Ammerman, a state police spokesperson.
She confirmed to The York Dispatch on Tuesday morning that Keltner being missing isn t believed to be related to her attempted homicide.
The two York City men charged in that attack remain in prison.
Man remains in coma after SUV, tractor-trailer crash in Perry County: state police

An SUV carrying two young children and two adults was making an illegal U-turn last week when it crossed into the path of a tractor-trailer and crashed, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Trooper Tre Nelson said the SUV is at fault in the April 7 crash, which took place on Route 11/15 around 4:30 p.m. in the area of Cherry Road in Buffalo Township.
The man driving the SUV was trying to make a U-turn from the south to northbound lanes, and ended up colliding with a tractor-trailer headed north, Nelson said.

Route 11/15 is closed in Perry County after an SUV and a tractor-trailer crashed in Buffalo Township, according to police.
The crash occurred in the area of Cherry Road and is closed at Bucks Valley Road, according to PennDOT. All lanes are closed.
State police Trooper Megan Ammerman said there were four people in the SUV, two adults and two children.
One adult and one child were ejected from the vehicle, suffering major injuries, Ammerman said. Those two and the second adult were airlifted from the scene.
Ammerman did not have an injury report for the driver of the tractor-trailer.

A second child, 6, suffered severe injuries in the crash but is recovering, Trooper Megan Ammerman said.
Ammerman said she did not have details on whether charges will be filed in the crash. Police have not identified anyone involved.
The crash occurred at 8:40 a.m. on March 3 in the 1200 block of Ritner Highway, or Route 11, in Southampton Township, police said previously. The crash was a vehicle versus the horse and buggy.
Three people were in the buggy and all were ejected.
