The Horizon Health Network said the hospital’s emergency department is currently experiencing “high volumes” of patients. In a tweet posted shortly after 12:30 p.m. Friday, the health authority encouraged people to think about their options for receiving care. That includes visiting your local pharmacist or after-hours clinic, or calling Tele-Care 811. N B leukemia patient left stranded in Halifax after being transferred for biopsy

  SAINT JOHN, N.B. A New Brunswick father is speaking out tonight after he says his daughter was essentially left stranded in Nova Scotia for about a week. After being transferred to hospital in Halifax for a biopsy, he says there was confusion around who would be bringing her back home and when. Darrell Tidd s daughter, Ashley, was transferred from the Saint John Regional Hospital to the QEII on April 22 for a biopsy. The 26-year-old Ashley has been diagnosed with leukemia and there are concerns she could have another form of cancer. The biopsy was completed the next day, but her father says she was then left in a sort of limbo.

Visitation Services For James Taylor

He had been diagnosed with a genetic disorder and was suffering from liver failure. Taylor’s death came just hours after the Greater Saint John community He had one simple wish: to have a parade of emergency vehicles, construction vehicles, antique cars, and other vehicles. An estimated 1,000 vehicles came out to the hospital on Saturday morning, where Taylor watched from his hospital bed outside. Visitation will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. on both days. Guests are asked to enter the building through the courtyard entrance, where staff will help with COVID-19 protocol. An invite-only funeral service will take place at noon on Friday. The service will also be streamed live on Brenan’s Funeral Home’s website.
