SAINT PETERSBURG: Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that he will hope to mend Russia s damaged relations with the US when he will hold his first summit with President Joe Biden.

Moscow, Jun 4 (Prensa Latina) Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Friday expressed an absence of great expectations in the talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart, Joseph Biden, on June 16 in Geneva.
The Russian politician said in statements to Russia s Channel One television network during the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum that the beginning of dialogue between the two countries is a positive step.
According to the head of the Russian Presidency s press office, the meeting is very, very important, but it would be a mistake to fall into great expectations.
