Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service donates to St Vincent prison

The Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service has joined in aid and relief efforts to St Vincent and the Grenadines, specifically the prison, after the eruptions of the La Soufriere volcano.
A release from the prison service said through collaboration with Caribbean Community Implementation Agency for Crime and Security (Caricom Impacs), contact was made and its immediate needs were established.
On Wednesday, 800 cases of water and 840 KN95 masks, supplied by the Prison Service, were loaded onto the Admiral Vessel, bound for SVG.

Since La Soufriere volcano started erupting in December 2020, Rodriguez has posted several videos on his social media platforms, allegedly showing him at the summit of the erupting volcano.
In some of the videos and photos, other persons are seen with Rodriguez.
The trips to the volcano, located in the red zone, caused the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) to issue a statement stressing that persons who journey into the red zone will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

A Vermont resident who took in two evacuees from Rose Bank is calling on the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) for help with water and other supplies.

“The supermarkets have nothing on sale and we are in a state of emergency. It is disrespectful to have us like this when a lot of things are being sent to the country for people like us,” Ricardo Jack told SEARCHLIGHT on Thursday while being supported by evacuees Annis Edwards and her 16-year-old son Ashac Edwards.
