Thank you for the opportunity to serve this great Nation, as this has been the honor of my life, Adams wrote in a departure note posted to Facebook. . . . I hope in 2021 and beyond, we can focus more on what unites us, and rise above what divides us.

Lauwers to speak Wednesday about restaurant restrictions

BAD AXE State Senator Dan Lauwers is scheduled to appear at the Peppermill Restaurant in Bad Axe at 3 p.m. on Wednesday to speak about Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s restaurant restrictions.
This will be the third stop he makes on Wednesday, as Lauwers will also appear at Roadhouse 19 in Yale and Little Camille’s By the Bay in New Baltimore earlier in the day, both located in his state senate district.
Peppermill Restaurant owner Thomas McCollum will also speak about the impact the orders have had on his livelihood. Restaurant owners will also speak at the other locations Lauwers will visit.
