CEBU CITY – Due to lack of COVID-19 vaccine supply, vaccination in this city was suspended again Wednesday.
City Councilor Dave Tumulak said the COVID-19 vaccine supply composed of 14,920 doses of Sinovac that the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH 7) recently turned over to the city has already been used up.
Tumulak said three of the five vaccination centers will be open on Thursday, July 8, but only for the administration of second doses using Pfizer vaccine.
“We are advising the public to wait for further announcement. We will immediately resume our vaccination once there is an available vaccine,” said Tumulak.
