When: Little Britain Township supervisors meeting, April 13.
What happened: Township zoning officer Christine Jackson told the board how she discovered errors on Lancaster County Planning Commissionâs response to a sewage planning module permit but was told it could not be corrected.
Background: When a subdivision is being created, a sewage module is prepared with detailed information sent to the state Department of Environmental Protection for review and approval. Before that, the module goes through both the county and the township. In the case Jackson described, incorrect items included stating the property is in a protected green area when the township does not have such a zone.
The Maxatawny Township Planning Commission set further conditions to an already contentious warehouse project that would increase truck traffic in the township.
At a grueling four-hour session that lasted until after midnight, commission members failed to vote on approval of a preliminary plan for the proposed Valley Logistics Park.
The move delays action on the project at least until the commission s next meeting May 20.

Duke Realty, an Indiana developer, wants to build two 1-million-square-foot warehouses on about 300 acres north of Route 222 near Long Lane and Hottenstein roads.
To do that, it needs the planning commission to approve a preliminary plan. Approval would clear the way for Duke to work toward final approval by the township supervisors.

MAHWAH The Township Council emerged from an hourlong closed session Thursday to say they had reached agreement with a Masonicus Road resident to continue installation of power lines to feed a temporary cell tower on Fire Company 3 property.
Jeff Buchak of 73 Masonicus Road had halted the Rockland Electric installation April 6. He claimed the company had illegally cut down six trees in the wetlands area of his property without a Department of Environmental Protection permit, and that the township had not fulfilled a verbal promise to compensate him before work began.
Township Administrator Ben Kezmarsky said the town had reached an agreement with Buchak to continue the temporary power installation, and would require one day s work to energize the long-awaited tower in the 2-mile-wide dead zone on the township s northern border.
With flowers and trees in bloom so is a growing trash problem throughout Saxton Borough that has its council concerned.
Saxton Borough Council on Monday evening expressed concern over a growing trash problem in different areas of the borough and adjoining Liberty Township. Mayor Alan Smith feels it is time to address the problem through enforcement of borough ordinances against the accumulation of trash.
Smith said there are problem areas around the borough where the accumulation of bags of trash are sitting around in plain view. Borough manager Jamie Foster said she received complaints about trash from containers blown over by the wind.
