Dealing with noise is just a fact of life for anyone living in New York City, but the persistent, shrill whistling coming from the building on the corner of Henry Street and Pacific Street in Cobble Hill has led to numerous complaints from neighbors.

Apr 3, 2021 Jon Stephen Raemore, 75, of Harrisburg, passed away on March 22, 2021 while in the care of Arden Courts of Susquehanna. Jon was the husband of the late Debra K. (Long) Raemore who passed away May 13, 2014. Jon and Debra lived in the Harrisburg area, on Fishing Creek Valley Road, for more than 30 years. Born and raised in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Robert E. and Marcella A. (Smith) Raemore. A graduate of Williamsport High School, where he was the senior class president; Jon also participated in varsity sports and later played football on scholarship at George Washington University. He was a graduate of Lycoming College, with a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree, and subsequently worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for more than 30 years in the Department of Environmental Protection.
