After state shutdown , cleanup to resume at King Philip Mill site in Fall River FALL RIVER  Asbestos cleanup and redevelopment at the King Philip Mill has been mostly on hold since a state Department of Environmental Protection strike force shut down operations at the site in November 2019   but neighbors could see activity resume at the site this week.  Edmund Coletta, spokesperson for MassDEP, indicated by email that last Friday the state environmental agency received word from J.R. Vinagro Corp., the company hired by King Philip Mill owner and local developer Robert Kfoury, that asbestos-abatement work at the site is proposed to restart this week.
