Biden to name Chris Inglis as new national cyber director President Joe Biden is expected on Monday to name Chris Inglis to the new position of national cyber director, an official familiar with the matter confirmed to CNN. Inglis whose legal first name is John but who goes by Chris is a former National Security Agency deputy director. The Washington Post was first to report his appointment. The White House on Monday announced that Biden will also nominate Jen Easterly, a former NSA intelligence officer, to lead the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. CISA is the federal government’s top cybersecurity agency.
