Another Mega Group Spy Scandal? Samanage, Sabotage, And The SolarWinds Hack
The devastating hack on SolarWinds was quickly pinned on Russia by US intelligence. A more likely culprit, Samanage, a company whose software was integrated into SolarWinds’ software just as the “back door” was inserted, is deeply tied to Israeli intelligence and intelligence-linked families such as the Maxwells.
In mid-December of 2020, a massive hack compromised the networks of numerous US federal agencies, major corporations, the top five accounting firms in the country, and the military, among others. Despite most US media attention now focusing on election-related chaos, the fallout from the hack continues to make headlines day after day.
Disaster Recovery and the SolarWinds Exploit
One of the biggest malware attacks in recent history was the SolarWinds exploit where malware was spread through SolarWinds’ software update process to thousands of government and private sector customers. SolarWinds is a well-known provider of IT management products and their Orion infrastructure monitoring and management platform was the product that was attacked. Automatic updates are a critical component for almost all software these days and this cyberattack compromised SolarWinds’ software update service for the Orion product.
This attack executed the Sunburst malware that was planted in the Orion management platform. The Sunspot exploit that the attackers used to insert the Sunburst malware into Orion updates was later isolated by cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike. On Jan. 6, 2021, the day supporters of President Donald Trump gathered in Washington, D.C. to protest the certification of the 2020 presidential election results by Congress and ultimately storm the U.S. Capitol, posts began to circulate widely social media claiming that an employee of an Italian security firm had interfered in the election to secure Joe Biden’s victory. Shared online with the hashtags #ItalyDidIt and #ItalyGate, the claims are part of a conspiracy theory intended to sow doubt in the U.S. electoral system and bolster allegations by Trump and his allies that the election was rigged. The supposed evidence, analyzed by Reuters, contradicts the main claims presented in this theory.

On the day Congress officially counted the electoral votes making Joe Biden the next president, chants of Stop the Steal echoed through the U.S. Capitol. The deadly assault followed months of President Trump s insistence that Mr. Biden s win could only be explained by rampant fraud, and he encouraged his supporters to demand a different result.
But none of the claims of widespread fraud or election theft hold up under scrutiny. Election officials around the country and the Trump administration s own attorney general and cybersecurity experts verified the election was the most secure in American history. All of the lawsuits claiming otherwise were rejected by state and federal courts.
The claim: Dominion voting machines can create ballots and can be hacked
Accusations of voting machine malfunctions persist against manufacturer Dominion Voting Systems, despite audits of 2020 presidential election ballots that were processed through its machines that found no evidence of tampering.
A claim posted to the Facebook page of Jeremy Herrell suggests Dominion Voting Systems fraud capabilities are featured in the user manual for the machines. Herrell, whose stage name is The Hip Hop Patriot, is a musician and podcaster who supports President Donald Trump, according to a profile page on Anchor.fm. BREAKING!
