Pomp Salon owner joins lawsuit: ‘Why are you closing us?’ [The Record, Stockton, Calif]
STOCKTON – Pomp Salon owner Dino Ballin remains steadfast to stay open.
He and others in the hair salon industry have filed an injunction against the state’s lockdown order after his business was raided last week by the California Department of Consumer Affairs. The plaintiffs have retained well-known criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos.

On Dec. 23, officers on behalf of the CDCA raided the hair salon in Lincoln Center, which has remained open in defiance of the state’s latest COVID-19 order that went into effect earlier this month in regions where intensive care unit availability fell below 15%.
The California state regulatory authorities raid a beauty salon citing COVID compliance demands; however, the local authorities refuse to cooperate with the state intent.
Till 1990–91, Jammu and Kashmir used to be a food surplus state, but it turned into a food-deficit state by 2000, due to changing land use pattern, stagnant agricultural production, unfavourable climate, conflict, and misplaced policy priorities. CLEVELAND (WOIO) - The Cuyahoga County Department of Consumer Affairs is warning people that a new round of stimulus checks could lead to a new round of scams.
On Sunday, President Donald Trump approved a $900 billion COVID-19 relief package, which includes $600 in direct payments to people making less than $75,000 a year and couples making less than a combined $150,000 a year.
Cuyahoga County’s Department of Consumer Affairs wants people to know the payments will be sent automatically, and they should ignore any calls, emails or texts about the stimulus payments.
