AC approves land for 2600 flats for migrant employees AC approves land for 2600 flats for migrant employees Excelsior Correspondent SRINAGAR, July 27: The Administrative Council (AC), which met under the chairmanship of Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, approved the transfer of 278 kanal land in five districts to the Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction for construction of  2600 flats as  transit accommodation for Kashmiri Migrant employees under the Prime Minister’s Development Package, 2015. The Administrative Council also conveyed its approval for construction of 2744 flats at an estimated cost of Rs. 356 crore; as transit accommodation on the G+3 and G+5 models at seven locations in Kashmir division.
