Patricia de Lille is Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure. POLITICAL NEWS - It has now been nearly 2 months since the Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Patricia de Lille, told the press that she had signed off on the release of at least 5 parcels of land for human settlement purposes in the Western Cape.  Since then, no formal communication has been received by either the provincial Department of Human Settlements or the Housing Development Agency.  This is despite attempts by the provincial Minister of Human Settlements, Tertuis Simmers, to engage the Minister on the matter when he wrote to Minister de Lille in May.
