Tulare County expands COVID-19 vaccine eligibility. Appointments available now
Tulare County has expanded vaccine eligibility to people ages 16-64 with underlying high-risk health conditions. Doses are available now.
Those eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine may schedule an appointment at the International Agri-Center near Tulare. Hundreds of slots are available each day at the time publication.
Under the expanded eligibility requirements, people who have health risks, work in an essential field such as education or agriculture, or are over 65 may get innoculated.
“We urge all our newly eligible residents and workforce to not delay and get vaccinated as soon as possible,” stated Dr. Karen Haught, Tulare County Public Health Officer.
