Each kit will include detailed instructions on how to collect the saliva, which includes a video call with a testing supervisor. The kits will also include instructions for shipping completed tests via UPS dropbox.
A saliva test is similar to a nasal swab test people receive at community testing sites in that both determine whether a person has an active COVID-19 infection.
The effort will make testing even more accessible for Wisconsinites, said Gov. Tony Evers, in the news release. We believe that anyone in Wisconsin who needs to be tested for COVID-19 should have access to a test, he said.

A pair of resolutions passed Wednesday could help open the way for Duluth to become a more attractive cruise ship destination come 2022.
Both the Duluth Seaway Port Authority and the Duluth Economic Development Authority
approved resolutions that could provide up to a combined $40,000 to cover the cost of designing a facility that could one day welcome waterborne international travelers.

DULUTH - The College of St. Scholastica will recognize its graduating students virtually this month, in lieu of an in-person commencement ceremony.
Due to COVID-19 safety measures and the College’s commitment to keeping their community safe, December’s commencement ceremony will be held virtually at 12 p.m. on Dec. 19.
