Mumbai, Feb 11 : In a piquant situation, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari was forced to deboard from a state government aircraft at Mumbai Airport as he planned to fly to Dehradun and then go to Mussoorie for an official function, officials said here on Thursday.
Even as a massive political slugfest erupted between the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray s office broke its silence on Thursday evening and pointed fingers at the Raj Bhavan.

The already estranged relations between Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government stretched further after he was denied to use the VVIP aircraft on Thursday for his travel to Dehradun from Mumbai.

Mumbai: Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari was denied permission to use a state government aircraft to travel to Dehradun on Thursday, triggering a row and inviting a strong criticism from the opposition BJP which sought an apology over the incident.
Koshyari was scheduled to travel by a state government aircraft to Dehradun, but the permission to use the plane was not granted even as the governor had boarded the aircraft, sources said.
