Trigg County Hospital was selected to oversee one of six new regional COVID-19 vaccination sites in the state announced Thursday by Governor Andy Beshear.
Trigg County Hospital will administer the second of two doses of COVID-19 vaccine on Wednesday, February 3, and Thursday, February 4.
Hospital Administrator John Sumner says the vaccine will be administered at the Trigg County Recreation Complex Lexie Bush Convention Center. Sumner says the second shot will be administered for those who received their first dose on January 6 and 7 at the Trigg County Recreation Complex.
Sumner says appointment times for the second shot will be on the same day and time as the first dose was administered earlier this month. He adds those coming to receive vaccines do not need to show up early.
The next fiscal court meeting will be Monday evening, February 2, at 6:00 in the Trigg County Courthouse Annex basement.
Magistrates also approved a bid from A-Line Fence Company, of Hopkinsville, for around $10,500 to replace fencing for field four at the Trigg County Recreation Complex. Alexander said that particular fence was in the worst condition out of all of the fields.
